Projects

Lowlands

Festival structures are often temporary and therefore made from similar materials, resulting in a uniform look. For this project, we were given the freedom to deviate from those standard materials and create something that feels like a permanent part of the festival grounds.

Chateau

Chateau Amsterdam and Daan Meeuwig invited us to collaborate on their project at Johan Muyskenweg in Amsterdam-Noord: an urban winery and restaurant. We designed and built several interior elements.

Copain

Fine dining restaurant Copain Amsterdam approached us to design and build a back bar and a mobile bar — a true eye-catcher that immediately draws attention upon entering.

Louf

For the first Louf location, situated next to restaurant Binnenvisser on Bilderdijkstraat in Amsterdam, we designed a floor-to-ceiling shelving unit. With the ceiling reaching an impressive four and a half meters, we opted for steel supports. The shelves are made from plywood, edged with solid hardwood strips.

Binnenvisser

Following the project for Louf, the client asked us to design a wine cabinet for their parent establishment, Binnenvisser. For this space, we chose mahogany supports and solid oak shelves to achieve a warm and classic look.

Twee Prinsen

Café Twee Prinsen wanted a striking centerpiece for their venue on Prinsenstraat in Amsterdam. The result is a custom-built, cooled wine cabinet made of steel and glass, showcasing the full wine collection in clear view. The cooling unit, located in the basement, circulates cold air through the cabinet to keep the natural wines at the perfect temperature.

Birkenstock

For a London pop-up in collaboration with Birkenstock, Gowtu Agency asked us to design worktables for workshops, talks, and meetings. The result: four tables that can be combined to form one large table. The tabletops are shaped after the tread pattern of Birkenstock soles. The legs are fitted with wheels for mobility and double as built-in storage.

Extreme Cashmere

For the launch of their pop-up on Madison Avenue in New York City, Studio UKU flew over for two weeks to bring the project to life. The space is entirely lined with muslin cotton, creating the feeling of stepping into a fabric tunnel.

Oatly

For an Oatly brand activation at the Wildeburg festival, we built a bar focused on coffee and espresso martinis. The base consists of three containers arranged in an I-shape, providing ample workspace. On top sits a gigantic 20-cubic-meter robot head that lights up at night, its eye overlooking the festival grounds.

Into the woods

Believing in multiple uses for materials, we reused steel louvres previously employed at Wildeburg to build this DJ booth. The light show was produced by Dr. Strebel.

Wildeburg

After the success of our project for Into the Woods during ADE, the organization asked us to decorate an area at Wildeburg. We sourced a batch of steel louvres, originally made for an offshore oil platform, which formed the basis for the towers and DJ booth.

ADE

This DJ booth is also constructed from reused louvres sourced from the Wildeburg project. The goal remains to repurpose decorative materials rather than using them just once.

Tolhuistuin

For Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam North, we designed a new outdoor stage to replace the old one. The structure consists of a steel frame with six columns and curved steel beams. Douglas fir beams rest on top, covered with a corrugated sheet roof. The stage is fully demountable, making it easy to relocate.

Kunstwerk Amersfoort

For an open call by the Municipality of Amersfoort, we designed an artwork for the bicycle parking area at Amersfoort Schothorst station. Because the structure is low and surrounded by tall buildings, we decided to build upwards.
