Louf
For the first Louf location, situated next to restaurant Binnenvisser on Bilderdijkstraat in Amsterdam, we designed a floor-to-ceiling shelving unit. With the ceiling reaching an impressive four and a half meters, we opted for steel supports. The shelves are made from plywood, edged with solid hardwood strips.
The unit serves as both a divider between the shop and the production kitchen and as a double-sided storage solution for staff. It’s also a striking display piece for the breads Louf is known for.
Since then, Louf has opened four locations across Amsterdam, all designed and built in the same style by Studio UKU.
