Studio UKU is a design studio based in Amsterdam-Noord, founded in 2020 by three friends ⏤ Djaro, Lewis, and Vos ⏤ with backgrounds in product design. From their own workshop, the team works daily on projects at the intersection of interior design, spatial experience, and artisanal custom work.

UKU’s work is characterized by a clear, timeless visual language, a love for technique and materials, and a human approach in both tone and execution. Everything is developed in-house, from concept to final result.

At UKU, everything begins with making. Ideas take shape in the workshop, between sketch and material, from mind to hand. Friendship forms the foundation of the studio. Trust, freedom, and engagement shape not only the collaboration between Djaro, Lewis, and Vos, but also the way UKU works with clients, makers, and the surrounding community.
